Inspired again by my sister's waste reduction, I've been donating unused belongings to some local charity shops. Beyond the physical "stuff" I decided to clear out my podcast list as well. I had subscribed to far too many podcasts and was, I hate to admit it, getting a bit antsy about the hundreds of unlistened to podcasts.
The first idea I had was to listen to podcasts at 1.5 speed. It worked to some extent but it wasn't getting me to listen to some of the podcasts. Which left me with option two - delete and unsubscribed. It's taken me about a week to do that but I think I'm there. I've kept a few subscriptions, mainly some BBC and Financial Times podcasts and a few food podcasts. Here's some of the ones I've kept:
Irish Times Inside Politics
Totally Irish
BBC podcasts: From Our Own Correspondent, In Our Time, Thinking Allowed, Food Programme, Voices of the First World War
FT podcasts: Alphachat, News, Brexit Unspun, UK Politics, Banking Weekly
Burnt Toast
The Sporkful
This American Life
Strangers
